Project Advisory Group provided PMO Risk Management Services which include Capital Project, Program and Portfolio Risk Management and Integrated Capital Planning Risk Management. We are involved in key projects include Melbourne Airport's 3rd Runway, Elevated Road & Forecourt and North Infill Security Enhancement.

• Lack of vision and direction on capital planning beyond the next 10 years - Affordability (e.g. cost constraint) of the capital plan

• Doability (E.g. resourcing and operational constraints) of the capital plan - Project delivery decentralised into business units

• Very lean PMO team supporting Aviation, Ground Transport, Commercial Property & Retail, Engineering & Asset Management and Technology

• PMO acts as a supporting function, not a controlling PMO

Key Outcomes & Benefits

A fully seconded risk advisory specialist in the Melbourne Airport (APAM) PMO who is responsible for Project, Program and Portfolio Management across the airport's Capital Works in Aviation, Ground Transport, Commercial Property & Retail, Engineering & Asset Management and Technology. This includes managing the Risk Governance Process under MAPP (Melbourne Airport Project Plan) Process, conducting Quantitative Risk Analysis to facilitate P50 and P90 Risk Contingency Value, Risk Reporting and Escalation to the Construction and Strategic Capital Governance Forums.
